You can continue to use Blackboard with no restrictions until the end of the 2026 summer semester. Faculty and staff have access to a preliminary version of Learn@FU (based on Moodle) via www.learn.fu-berlin.de by now. They have the opportinity to get to know Learn@FU and can transfer Blackboard courses and content if needed. 

Starting in the winter semester 2026/27, Learn@FU will be the new central learning platform at Freie Universität, meaning that new courses will be created exclusively there. Blackboard will only be available to a limited extent in the winter semester 2026/27 and will no longer be accessible as of March 15, 20227.
