FUB-IT is responsible for providing standardized and agile IT services to Freie Universität Berlin and its partners.

All IT departments at the university were consolidated to form FUB-IT in April 2023. With all of these services now in one place, FUB-IT is able to offer first-rate, highly efficient IT services to all university members involved in research, teaching, studying, and administration as well as cater to the needs of these target groups with professional support and consulting.

FUB-IT’s impressive array of services range from administering about 60,000 user accounts and operating all phone services and video conference systems, to managing all core administration processes and conducting IT support on campus, to developing practical solutions for research IT infrastructure.
